Assistance for Firefighters (AFG) Deadline

Please contact your local Fire Chief with the following information.  The Assistance for Firefighters (AFG) program is currently accepting electronic applications.  The application deadline is 4:00 PM (CST) on February 12, 2021.  The program can help fund the purchase of equipment and other items for fire department and ambulance services that are awarded funding.  The departments must have an active account with the AFG program.  Also, the city/department must have an active registration with the System of Award Management (SAM.gov) for the application.  Previously, the First District office has assisted with the completion of AFG applications.  Contact the Greg Maag with the First District office, if you would like assistance with the completion of an AFG application.
